We have two separate proposals and one campaign! Both proposals were written by the CA Office of Legislative Counsel Attorneys, given the proponent's input, and they will legally do exactly what the legal directives in each say they will do! These legislative solutions are being presented by concerned CA citizens who simply want to restore trust, accountability, and participation into our ballot voting, as well as initiative, referendum and recall processes! In order to do all of this, we simply must modernize our entire elections system to end voter suppression and make it so we all have a way to represent ourselves when our elected officials fail to do their job! We must use the antiquated pen and paper signature gathering process one last time to bring these processes up to the standards in technology we are accustomed to in literally every other aspect of our lives!

This simple, but potentially very powerful, CA statewide ballot initiative proposal essentially makes electronic signature gathering legal for all levels of legal petition circulation, as it relates to initiative, referendum and recall qualification, so voters can more effectively and efficiently participate in our legislative oversight and elected official replacement processes! Sign petitions directly with the CA SOS on their new website! View pro and con arguments like we get in our voter brochures! View an ongoing tally of signatures keeping the count transparent! Requires our electronic signature to be "deemed affixed and treated as our pen and paper signature!"(very important!) Sign petitions directly with the CA SOS on their new website! Gives PDF download and paper signing option! Turns on electronic signature gathering for all levels of state and local government, which means every elected official is subject to instant recall qualification, and we as voters can have the much needed oversight when it comes to changing, making, or removing, city and county ordinances all the way up to state statutory laws and CA Constitutional Amendments!. Cost for all of this is much less than we spend trying to use these processes with the pen and paper rules still in place! Restores having a healthy debate over the solutions we can present to each other without having to be legislatively censored by our own elected officials! Gives every CA voting citizen a way to represent themselves with a truly functional and legal proposal system! Modernizes our elections and political oversight abilities to match what we have in literally every other aspect of our lives! To deny CA voters the efficient and affordable ability to sign petitions, used for us to propose our own political oversight measures, is the greatest form of voter suppression we face today! This proposal seeks to free up the way voters participate in our own system of governance and brings balance back to the way it all works! So much balance that initiative, referendum and recall processes won't be as necessary once our elected officials begin to serve their constituents as true public servants! Think about it!

This second CA statewide initiative proposal was written to fix the CA ballot voting system. It combines hard copy record keeping with the efficiency of technology, and simply gives voters the ability to verify our "voter intent" is intact throughout the ballot voting process. Those key "voter intent" words add what has been missing in our entire ballot voting system all along. Requires new online voting system to be simply added to our existing walk up, absentee, and mail in ballot voting system as another option for voters to use. 1st two years- it phases in the use of online voting technology to allow all users, who sign up traditionally with a paper request, the ability to use secured and uniquely registered, uniform, voting, Kiosk machines located at polling locations where voting officials can monitor its implementation! 2nd phase occurs at the 4 year mark- allowing remote voting to take place using a dedicated intranet server, unique programming, and a dedicated pathway that is only used to handle voting needs! Requires ballot submission to be instantly transferred to hard copy record keeping to three separate entities including; the voter's county registrar, Secretary of State, and to a dedicated third party where ballots are kept in a format that equals the hard copy paper ballot system we already have. This means our ballot submissions are to be kept on paper, Compact Disc (CD), Microfiche, or other authorized hard copy supported format! Most importantly, we want to get a paper receipt from the kiosk and/or an encrypted email receipt that gives every voter the instant ability to, not only verify that our ballot submission was received and counted, but that our voter intent remains intact given everything we originally supported on it! (This is very important for voter accountability!) Requires audits and transparency measures to ensure we are seeing the numbers and system work publicly! Has three layers of voter verification, where we log in and use state ID and last 4 of social security, like we do for registering to vote, then a two point verification process, where the system confirms user from a second known point of contact, and finally by using the same electronic signature capabilities we are asking for with our new electronic petition submission. "Deemed affixed and treated as our pen and paper signature!" Yes, identification is built into this proposal in a far superior way then with what we get using pen and paper signatures. Encrypted security and voter intent is again captured with every ballot submitted as we finalize each submission given our unique electronic endorsement! Gives voters, wanting to ensure identification happens with their ballot submission, a way to have their identity accounted for when participating in any ballot voting process! Does not change the option for voters to simply continue to use the vote by mail system or walk up voting process! (Don't like it, don't use it!) Also, defaults to these systems when problems arise so voters can remedy any obstacle and continue to cast their ballot. Modernizes our ballot voting system to enable over 22 million voters to individually and independently verify our voter intent remains intact! There is no way to make this level of accountability happen given the limitations of the system we currently have, and CA is in desperate need of a ballot box integrity upgrade! In order to restore trust in our elections process for all voting citizens of CA, not just those voters who are content to have voted for a winning candidate or party, we must use all of our abilities to secure the integrity of the voting process, via every form of technology to include in person processes, and ensure we are all being fully represented in each election. The nature of our elections system was intended to be inclusive for all CA citizens who wish to participate, and who are legally eligible to do so. We can do our elections process better and this proposal will help lead the way! It is time to evolve our political system using technology before technology itself gets too far out of control. If we fail to fix our political foundation and elections infrastructure first, the ability for our system of governance to meet the needs of the people it is meant to serve, the CA Citizens, will likely suffer overwhelming consequences!

Sign up to volunteer and collect just 200 signatures for each proposal. That is all we are asking of any volunteer! No one can do this alone and we are focused on not overloading anyone in this process, but this means we need help getting to our 5,000 volunteer goal! Once signed up with us, volunteers can jump in by simply taking our pdf downloadable petitions, signing the one time additional voter circulation agreement, required by the state of CA, and getting the petitions printed at your own expense at a printer near you for the best price you can find per proposal, (unless we get enough funding to print them for you.) expect to pay about $20 to print. Also needed to participate as a volunteer is printing out one "Top Funders" declaration sheet on paper to show voters, while circulating our petitions, who is funding us if asked. Then it is time to get started reaching out to family friends and neighbors and asking for help. Networking makes this super easy! As a fully prepared volunteer, you will be able to follow our easy petition circulation, voter signing instructions, and overall advice to ensure you are getting the best quality voter signatures. To finalize your volunteer role and be done, simply mail, or deliver in person, the finalized petitions back to us! Address is on every petition and we will set up drop locations as we grow. Working in teams found throughout the state and in every county, we will help establish the support system for those needing help, and with the Open Campaign management platform we are providing, which is designed to give every volunteer the tools to easily complete their task in a very short amount of time, we will build upon our success each step of the way provided we each do our small part! transparent! Of course, all amounts of signature gathering commitments are needed, so please know we will accept any and all volunteer help, provided it is aligned with our goal to get these two proposals on the next ballot. This also means, volunteers can collect as many signatures as they wish because some folks can get thousands of signatures easily, given their networking abilities, and so we want to support them as well by doing our part. This is just the best way to set expectations for ALL involved to realistically help everyone see what is needed. If you just can't collect any signatures or want to help out more, then you may support us by providing some much needed financial support by simply donating whatever you can. Every dollar will go to our campaign management, petition circulation, and overall marketing needs! Donating is done on a secured link through our campaign management platform! The last and most important step is to spread the word, we need upward of 5,000 volunteers each willing to collect just 200 signatures for each proposal to make this work! So helping friends, family, and anyone we encounter find our website and join our effort! We all have unique abilities, qualities and connections, so please be creative and share whatever you can with whoever you can find to help, and know that we are here to support any connections you help us make to this campaign! Now that we have our petitions cleared for circulation, this entire process is focused on getting our petitions signed and turned in, because that is really what this is all about in the end! We need to collect 1 million signatures in 180 days to ensure we have the 623,212 legal and valid CA voter signatures for each proposal required to qualify for the next ballot! We will not likely be getting help from paid signature gatherers and the state of CA has recently tried to make paid circulation illegal anyway. We welcome professional circulators who wish to preserve the integrity of what they do in a modernized format but they too will have to volunteer! If Paid circulators don't serve the needs of the political establishment, they too might become a thing of the past!

As we get proper funding through donations, we will use that funding to maximize our campaign platform capabilities and reach voters via, texting, emails, mailing etc. Now that we have real voter roll information that the CA Secretary of State has provided to us, and that is ready to support signature gathering and voter outreach with, we will have the tools needed to succeed as long as we have the volunteers to make it all happen!
